Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
